This article describes the different ways a teacher can enter scores for assignments in MATHiaFlex. For specific instructions regarding scoring individual assignments and bundles, see Related Articles below.
CLASS DASHBOARD
After logging in, click on the class you wish to grade. Hover over the orange bell to see the number of submitted assignments for that class.
You will be taken to the class dashboard, where you may toggle to view either by Students or Assignments.
CLASS DASHBOARD | STUDENTS
In the Students view, you may view all students in the class, and information about their progress. Click on the table headings to sort the table contents accordingly.
Click on the drop-down menu to filter students by the following assignment categories:
Scheduled: assignments that have been created, but are not visible to students.
Assigned: assignments that have been assigned and are visible to students. A student may or may not have started this assignment.
In Progress: the student has started the assignment.
Submitted: assignments that have been completed by the student and are ready for evaluation.
Evaluated: assignments that have been evaluated.
The above categories are color-coded under status:
Scheduled: gray
Assigned: purple
In Progress: blue
Submitted: orange
Evaluated: green
Clicking on a student’s row opens information about the student. The Score Summary indicates their cumulative percentage, which will update as assignments are evaluated.
Below, all of a student’s assignments are displayed as follows: scheduled, assigned, submitted, and evaluated. From here, they can be filtered by the due date, status, or type. Click on submitted assignments (in orange) to assign them a grade, or evaluated assignments (in green) to revise their grade.
Here, an assignment may be given a score, and individual feedback may be provided. Click submit below.
All other assignments for the student may be quickly selected, and evaluated if needed.
Alternatively, submitted assignments can be accessed by clicking on the orange circles, taking the teacher directly to the evaluation page.
Click on the orange checkmark for Quick-Evaluation, which will only show assignments in the drop-down menu that require evaluation for that student.

In the Assignments view, you may view all assignments in the class, and information about student progress, including average performance. Click on the table headings to sort the table contents accordingly.
Assignments may be filtered by Due Date, Status, or Type.
Clicking on an individual assignment row will open information about that assignment. Search for specific students who have been assigned the assignment or click on the drop-down menu to filter students by the following assignment categories:
Scheduled: assignments that have been created, but are not visible to students.
Assigned: assignments that have been assigned and are visible to students. A student may or may not have started this assignment.
In Progress: the student has started the assignment.
Submitted: assignments that have been completed by the student and are ready for evaluation.
Evaluated: assignments that have been evaluated.

Other students for the assignment can be quickly selected, and evaluated if needed.
